Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us
-
Which payment methods does giving accept?
Gifts can be made by card and, if the church enables it, SEPA Direct Debit, either one-off or monthly, and they are processed through Stripe. Donors can choose to cover the payment fee, and afterwards they manage their recurring gift from a link, without having to ask the treasurer for changes.
-
Can each donor download their giving statement?
Yes. In My giving each person sees their history by fund and downloads their annual statement as a PDF, with the church’s tax details. They also see their active recurring gifts, so everything they have given is at hand without having to ask the treasurer for it.
-
How are Sunday offerings recorded?
The offering is recorded at each service by currency and payment method, such as cash or bank transfer, and grouped into batches by date to reconcile what was counted with what reached the bank. Those entries feed the treasury and its monthly report, alongside the online gifts.
-
What is the giving projection?
It is an estimate of what active monthly gifts will bring in over the next twelve months, useful for preparing the budget with real figures. Only leadership can see it, and it updates itself whenever a donor starts, changes or cancels their recurring gift.
