Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask us

  • Are prayer requests moderated?

    Yes. Prayer requests can be reviewed before they appear on the wall, so only what leadership approves is published. The congregation can tap “I prayed for you” on each one, and people who do not have an account yet can send their request through a public link from the church.

  • Can I email the whole church?

    Yes. You can write to the whole church, a group or a team, schedule the send for the day and time you choose and later see how many people opened it. Each email includes a link to unsubscribe from that category only, while still receiving the rest of the church’s communications.

  • Do groups have their own chat?

    Yes. Every group and every team has its own chat inside the app, next to its meetings and attendance, so there is no need to open a separate messaging group. The conversation stays inside the church’s account and can be followed just the same on the phone or on the web.

  • Can I import the people I already have?

    Yes. The directory can be imported from a spreadsheet by choosing which column holds each field, such as name, email or phone. Afterwards each family keeps its own details up to date from My household, and Koinario detects duplicate profiles so you can merge them without losing any information.
